She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Forrest and Londia Viola Mongold Deavers; her brother Gary Deavers; and her brother-in-law Ernie Hess. She is survived by: her children, David Ray Mitchell (Melanie) of Tennessee and Londia Renee Bowers of Harrisonburg; her siblings, Robert Deavers (Mary) and Peggy Hess; her grandchildren, Taylor Bowers, Hailey Brittingham, Trinity Berry, Londia Shiflet and Corey Mitchell; and her great grandchildren, Alex Brittingham, Abigail Brittingham, Allison Brittingham and Desmond Berry.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cooks Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset final expenses, c/o McMullen Funeral Home, 5784 Greenmount Road, Harrisonburg, Virginia.
