He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Tyler and Caroline Ralston (Hess); his wife Anna Lou Ralston (McCray); and his brothers, Frank Ralston Jr. and Walter "Dutch" Ralston.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Joyce) of Monterey, Steve (Terena) of Blue Grass, Robert B. Jr. (Debra) of McDowell and Mark Ralston of McDowell; his siblings, James Ralston (Judy) of McDowell and Dorothy Lam (Lynwood) of Mt. Solon; his grandchildren, Eric Ralston of Monterey, Ben Ralston (Jordan) of Montpelier, Casey Ralston of Blue Grass, Erin Will (Jamie) of Mustoe and Cody Ralston of Millboro; his great grandchildren, Jaxson Will and Andrew Ralston; and his close friend Sidney Simmons. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
