He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lacy and Mary Roberts (Pullin) of Virginia; his former wife Twila Jane Burns; his wife Roberts Grocery; his son Michael Wayne Roberts; his grandson Jason Roberts; his great grandchild James "Ben" Benjamin Curtis; and his brothers, Randall, Grady Sr., Lacy, Cletis and Raymond Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Donna "Susie" Hickman of Burnsville, Dawn Delores Rubio (Evin) of Mexico, Crystal Dale Roberts of Burnsville, Richard Dale "Sam" Roberts of Burnsville and Westley Eugene Roberts (Debbie) of Burnsville; and his siblings, Roscoe Roberts (Wanda) of Burnsville and Maudy Schurtz of Woodstock. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Burnsville Cemetery, c/o Betty Dunnagan, 4593 Muddy Run Road, Burnsville, Va. 24487.
