It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Wayne Wimer of McDowell, Virginia, born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Frances Wimer (Kisamore). He is survived by: his father Ambers Wimer of Circleville, WV; his wife Wanda "Bobbie" Wimer (Booth) of McDowell; his sons, Adam Wimer of McDowell and Dusty Wimer of Monterey; his daughter-in-law Christie Wimer of Monterey; his siblings, Carolyn Lambert of Singers Glen, Charlotte Vance (Brison) of Circleville, WV and Rodney "Buddy" Wimer (Alice) of Petersburg, WV; his grandchildren, Makayla, Grayson Wimer of Remington and Summer Wimer of Monterey; and his close friends, Phil, Charlotte Lucas, Leonard, Linda Simmons and Deena Vess. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
