He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah Dean Stone and Alvin Lee Harkleroad; and his brother Rondal Harkleroad. He is survived by: his wife Jo-Ann Decker; his children, Franny Neil (David Neil) of McDowell and Dr. Leon Harkleroad (Cynthia) of Bowdoinham, Maine; his brother Jerry Dean Harkleroad of Johnson City, Tennessee; and his cousin Buford Stone (Janice).
