He was predeceased by: his parents, William Garnett Armbrister and Ada Gertrude Nester Armbrister; and his brother Freddie Nester. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Maxwell (Jeff) of Crockett, VA and Carrie Armbrister of Wytheville, VA; his grandchildren, Garrett Maxwell and Kaiden Melton; and his siblings, Louella Allen (Tom) of Draper, VA and Willis Armbrister (Teresa) of Max Meadows.
