He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy (Cora Beatrice Aker) and Jesus; his wife Helen Felts Aker; and his siblings, Jewel McVey, Harry "Sonny" Aker and Roger "Jock" Aker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Rorrer (Tony) of Draper, VA and Lori Gwynn (Jimmy Baumgardner) of Afton, TN; his grandchildren, Wyatt Rorrer of Draper and Alexis Hope Lewis of Dublin, VA; and his sisters, Brenda Byrd of Max Meadows, VA and Frances Charlene Atwell (Larry) of Fayetteville, NC.. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
