He was predeceased by: his parents, David Alfred Aker and Iva Jean "Felts" Aker; his daughter Regina Carder; and his brother-in-law Stephen W. Stoots. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lily, Durstan and Leland; and his siblings, Davene (Billy Dale) of Simpsonville, S. C., Tresia Stroupe of Kershaw, S. C., Martha Stoots and Robert Jeffery Aker. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
