He is survived by: his daughter Pam; his son-in-law Jeff Henley of Wytheville; his sons, Michael D. Howery of Max Meadows and Todd Howery of Max Meadows; his grandsons, Brandon Archer and Justin Archer; his sister Mary Lou; and his brother-in-law Elbert Houseman.
