He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Carl Leffew and Virginia Bralley Leffew Porter; his wife Elizabeth Anderson Lephew; and his sister Sue Coleman. He is survived by: his sons, Wade (Annette Lephew) and Brad Lephew of Mooresville, NC; his sister Barbara Jean (Tommy Duncan); his brother-in-law Franklin Coleman of Austinville, VA; his grandchildren, Hillary Lephew, Cameron and Melinda Lephew; and his great grandchildren, Nolan, Isabelle and Miles Lephew. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews many extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reese Funeral Home (2214 Austinville Rd, Austinville, VA 24312). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethany Community Church Cemetery (1384 Lead Mine Rd, Austinville, VA 24312).
