He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Harold, Sr. and Katharine Heuser Watson; his siblings, Katharine Watson Bowman, Clare I. Watson and Clyde Harold Watson, Jr.; and his nephew Clyde Harold Watson, III.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Heldreth Watson of Max Meadows; his children, Louis Heuser Watson, Jr., Pamela Sheppard of Max Meadows, Randy (Becky Watson), Kathy (Greg Reynolds) and Mary Alice Watson of Wytheville; his brother Graham (Frances Watson) of Max Meadows; his sister-in-law Carol Watson of Wytheville; his grandchildren, Anthony, Laura Beth Watson, Jessica, Jason Morris, Casey, Eddie Eversole, Storm, Lillian Reynolds, Grayson, Wesley Byrd, Scout Reynolds, Camryn Hardin and Emerson Hardin; his great grandchildren, Bailey Watson, Siler Watson, Eli Eversole and Grey Morris; and his close friend Jay Hall.
