She is survived by: her husband Cecil Bowers; her children, Christy (Andrew Hester), Misty Urbina (Cody Mann) of Galax, Tiffany (Michael Hyatt) and James Bowers of Boonesville, NC; her father Paul Lyall; her brother Jeff Lyall of West Virginia; and her aunt Newts. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
