She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchell Walker Sexton and Ella Mae Crouse Sexton; her husband Fred Emory Etter; and her siblings, Grover Sexton, Ethel Jones, Patsye Hensley, Elizabeth Kincer and Laura Umberger.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Etter Thompson (John); her grandchildren, Jonathan Emory Thompson of Max Meadows and Emily Gail Thompson of Max Meadows; her siblings, Tom Sexton of Marion, VA, John Sexton and Jo Cregger of Wytheville, VA; her siblings-in-law, Jessie C. Etter of Rural Retreat, VA and Colonel Hal G. Etter (Joyce) of Helotes, TX; and her nephew Sandy Etter (Debra) of Tazewell, VA.
