He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Orville and Leona Cress Porter. He is survived by: his wife Irene Porter; his children, Elizabeth Frazier, Wanda Dunford Lewis, Edna (Robert Frazier), Evelyn (Clint Pratt), William "Bill" Porter, Joseph B. "JB" (Brenda Porter) and John (B. J. Porter A); his sister Phebe Keeton; and his close friends, Barbara Porter and Vickie Burnett. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many extended family & friends.
