He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bramlett Aker and Mary Elizabeth Bralley Aker. He is survived by: his brothers, James Lacey Aker, Roy Bramlett Aker, Julian Milton Aker and Randolph Mitchell Aker; his siblings-in-law, Louise Groseclose Aker and Edward Thomas Buckhout; his wife Janet; his pet Daniel; his sister Ethel Aker Buckhout; his sister-in-law Dorothy Manuel Aker; his brothers, Otis Neil Aker, Rudolph Michael Aker (Vicki Matthews Aker) and Bruce Timothy Aker (Susie Midkiff Aker); and his sister-in-law Dorothy Collins Aker (late Julian Milton Aker). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Before the pandemic, he and Janet were ministering at the Pulaski Rehab Center; holding Sunday morning services for the residents, three Sundays a month.
