The passing of James Lewis Waddle of Max Meadows, Virginia, born in Bland, Virginia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 2, 2025 at the age of 81. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Lawrence Waddle and Haven Claudine Farmer Waddle; the mother of his children Linda Mustard Waddle; his brothers, Raymond Lee Waddle and Michael Waddle; and his stepson Shane Hamblin.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy L. Waddle of Dublin, VA; his daughters, Lisa (Derrick Haun) and Samantha (James Dean); his grandchildren, Marissa, Jakob, Tabitha, Miranda and Dakota; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Raylan, Willow, Raine, Rennin, Raeleigh, Maverick, Maevery, Rinley and Brooke. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and many extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bland Funeral Home (530 Main St, Bland, VA 24315). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the Waddle Family Cemetery.
