It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Greenway Porter of Max Meadows, Virginia, born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on June 23, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert Greenway and Mable Booze Greenway; and her sisters, Shirley Shepheard of Salem, VA and Helen Dennis of Salem, VA. She is survived by: her children, Kathy (James Rainey), Sharon (Mike Privett), Teresa (David Nelson), Karen Hill of Rural Retreat, VA. and James "Jesse" Payne of Wytheville, VA.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many extended family & friends.
