He was predeceased by: his father Walter Hasten Payne; his brother Walter Wayne Payne; and his sister-in-law Angela Delilah Payne. He is survived by: his mother Marie P Payne; his wife Janet L Payne; his daughter Andrea; his son-in-law Keith Repass; his niece Myra (Adam Edwards); his great-nephew Kindal Edwards; his aunt Ninna Smith; and his cousin Everett Mabry.
