Daniel Ray Rose Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Ray Rose of Max Meadows, Virginia, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Rose and Elva Ogle Rose; his granddaughter Harley Rose; and his siblings, Jack Rose, Will Rose, Dot Thomas, Virginia Hudson, Liza Scott, Alice Farris and Nancy Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Stone Rose; his sons, Shawn Rose of Max Meadows, James (Crystal Rose) and Shane Allen of Austinville; his grandchildren, Zach Rose, Levi Rose, Landon Rose and Bayleigh Allen; his great grandchildren, Peyton Rose, Easton Rose and Waylen Rose; and his sister Frances Pierce of Independence, VA.. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Hospitality House of the Blue Ridge, P.O. Box 20135, Roanoke, VA 24018.
