He is survived by: his wife Linda Shinault; his son Eric Shinault (Jennifer Matherly) of Burlington, NC.; his siblings, Jack Shinault (Susie) of Wytheville, VA, Merle Shinault (Kaye) of Columbus, OH, Sally Blevins of Wytheville, VA and Preston Shinault of Wytheville, VA; and his grandchildren, Steven, Maddie, Ella, Olivia, Xander, Bentley, Hattie and Isaac.
