He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles R. "Bob" Taylor and Annie Hazel Fisher Taylor; and his brothers, James E. Taylor, Howard Taylor, Thomas B. Taylor and Freddie Taylor.
He is survived by: his sisters, Guyla Taylor, Betty Anderson and Emma Jane Aker; his son-in-law James Pendleton Lyons, Jr.; his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Sue Reynolds Taylor; his daughter Kimberly; his son-in-law Randell "Elmo" Aker of Max Meadows, VA.; his son Jeffery Charles; his daughter-in-law Laura Taylor of Roanoke, VA.; his grandchildren, Sarah "Beth", Michael Mcgee, Robert, Tiffani Lyons, Hannah, Jared, Amanda Hovencamp, Jade, Evan McManus, Jacob Taylor, Ethan Taylor, Chloe Taylor, Brad Rottenborn and Kate Rottenborn; his sisters, Hazel Robertson of Max Meadows, VA and JoAnn (Gerald Johnson); his siblings-in-law, Annie Q. Taylor and Clarence Aker; and his caregiver Nancy Stuart. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and many extended family and friends.
In Lieu of flowers, those who prefer may make memorial donations to the St Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church.
