She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Alexander and Ethel Lee Cox Rickey; and her brother Lawrence Rickey. She is survived by: her husband Paul H. Howery; her children, Michael D. Howery of Max Meadows, Todd Howery of Max Meadows and Pam; her son-in-law Jeff Henley of Wytheville; her grandsons, Brandon Archer and Justin Archer; her siblings, Mary (Leo Workman), Judy Alvord (Donna Nance) of Charlotte, NC and Gilmer; and her sister-in-law Jean Rickey of Piney. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends.
