We bid farewell to William Lee Pearson of Maurertown, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 14, 2025 at the age of 80. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Samuel Pearson and Alberta Lorene Puterbaugh; and his brother Samuel Pearson. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Bashaw Pearson; his children, Heather Renee Ashley (Michael) of Woodstock and Daryl Lee Pearson (Amanda) of Toms Brook; his grandchildren, Hunter, Chloe, Emily and Grace; his siblings, Judith Russell Haddox (Richard) of Waverly, Kimberly Cardinal (Mark) of Oliver Springs, TN, Gene Pearson (Teresa) of Waverly, OH and David Pearson (Karen) of Waverly, OH; and his sister-in-law Linda Pearson of Anderson, SC..

A graveside service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thornrose Cemetery (1041 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Woodstock Presbyterian Church (142 E Court St, Woodstock, VA 22664).

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Woodstock Presbyterian Church, 142.
