With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elva Habron Hockman of Maurertown, Virginia, born in Saint Davids Church, Virginia, who passed away on March 9, 2021 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elva Habron Hockman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lehman Habron and Isabelle Habron; her former husband Arch F. Hockman, Jr.; her brothers, Everette Habron and Ivan Habron; and her siblings-in-law, Ruby Habron, Larry and William Hockman.
She is survived by: her husband Archie; her children, Michael A. Hockman and Patricia Hockman-Hobbs; her son-in-law Dennis Hobbs; her sisters-in-law, June Hockman and Phyllis Habron; her grandchildren, Cindy (Terry Linster), Pam (Scotty Miller), Dee (Dale Sherman), Amy Hodson of Woodstock and Leana Cook of Maurertown; and her close friend Shirley Patton. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, four great greatgrandchildren; many wonderful and loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021, 11:00 AM at Zion Christian Church Cemetery, Maurertown, VA by Pastor Joe Fleming, with masks and social distancing practices.
