He is survived by: his wife Shirley Rush Peters; his children, Edwin Charles "Ed" Peters (Vanessa), Lesli Peters Porter and Christy Peters Andrews (Troy Baughman); his stepson Steven Wetzel (Nicole); his adoptive daughter Jane Peters Johnson (Kenny); and his pet Zoey. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
