It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Allen Payne of Mattaponi, Virginia, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Payne; his parents, Richard Payne and Shirley Payne; his children, Randi Pilon (Ben), Damian Neel (Kate), Karen Garner (Will), Kristinne Stone (Matt) and Kevin Brown (Abby); his sister Kerri Barger (Mike); and his grandchildren, Marcus, Kevin, Emerson, Landen, Lillie, Jacob, Adeline, Mila and Eren. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Poroporone Baptist Church (30071 The Trail, Shacklefords, VA 23156). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
