It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Lee Roane (Mattaponi, Virginia), who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Alice Lee; her husband Len Allen Roane; her granddaughter Kimberly Roane; and her siblings, Ethel Roane, Nettie Jackson and Roland Lee.
She is survived by: her sons, Ernest Roane (Evelyn) and Walter "W. T."; her grandchildren, Bobby, Jason (Briana) and Jessica; her great grandchildren, Cyan, Cypress and Cypher; her niece Nina Jackson; and her sister-in-law Mary Lee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A walk-through viewing will be held from 5PM to 8PM Friday, October 2, 2020 at Second Mount Olive Baptist Church, 3156 Devils Three Jump Rd, Little Plymouth, VA 23091. **There will be CDC protocol followed during the walk through visitation Friday evening at Second Mount Olive Baptist Church** **Please adhere to all precautionary efforts laid forth by the CDC in response to Covid-19.
