We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2020, Lyn Burton Slaughter of Matoaca, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Linwood Andrew and Bettie Carpenter Slaughter of Virginia; and his sister Jeanette O. Tyler. He is survived by: his children, Brandon Lyn Slaughter and Lynsey Slaughter Brubaker (Chad); his grandson Stephen Chase Brubaker; his close friend Barbara E. White; his siblings, Dolly N. Crowder (Calvin), James R. "Bud" Beck, Jack M. Beck (Cindy), Betty S. Bower, Nancy S. Wall and Bonnie S. Perkinson; and his brother-in-law Dean Tyler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Specialove at 117 Youth Development Court, Winchester, VA 22602.
