He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Vairo and Hessie May Purdy Vairo; his wife Barbara Ann Wynn Vairo; and his son Louis Anthony "Tony" Vairo. He is survived by: his children, Debra Vairo (David) of Surry and John Phillip Vairo (Shelly) of Matoaca; his grandchildren, Lisa, Angie, Louis, Kendal and Mackenzie; his great grandchildren, Julia, Lily Ann, Woody and Nate; and his sister Charlotte. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Matoaca Baptist Church.
