Elmer Butler Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer Butler of Matoaca, Virginia, who passed away on March 2, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Jennings Butler, Sr. and Mary Payne Butler; and his brother William Perry "Slick" Butler. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Porter Butler; his sons, Roger Butler (Ann) of Prince George, Galen Butler (Cara) of Franklin and Whitney Butler (Sonja) of Providence Forge; and his grandchildren, Knox and Ellis Butler of Franklin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Chesterfield Community Church – 7110 Woodpecker Road – Chesterfield, VA 23838.
