Melvin Lee Callis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Lee Callis of Mathews, Virginia, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Lee; his stepchildren, Chris and Mary Courtney Duncan; his parents, Ernest Callis and Miriam Callis; and his brother Keith Callis.
He is survived by: his children, Ashley McBurney (Chris) and Todd Callis (Gina); his grandchildren, Kristopher, Nick, Sebastian, Layla, Hannah and Emma; and his siblings, Thomas Callis, Susan Cox and Nancy Mitchell. He is also survived by several extended family members and close friends.
