He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Foster and Grayson Foster. He is survived by: his former wife Hedy Szurovecz; his daughters, Jennifer Foster and Alison Foster (Edward); his granddaughter Madeline Grace Alexander; and his siblings, Grayson Foster (Darle) and Candace Junker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Mathews Rotary Club, P.O. Box 282, Mathews, Virginia 23109.
