She was predeceased by: her parents, Upsher, Sr. Rainier and Mary Lewis Rainier; her husband Garnett F. South; her siblings, Upsher Rainier, Jr., Melvin Rainier, Golden Dutton, Ruth Robins, Beulah Sadler, Lydia Rowe, Marilyn Morgan and Audrey Mitchem; and her granddaughter Heidi Jo South.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael G. South (Joan) and Dale F. South (Melanie); her grandchildren, Shannon Dean (Josh), Dawn South (Donald), Laura Brandon (Andy), Blair Jarrell (Casey) and Lance South; her great grandchildren, Riley, Zach, Ryder, Tessa Jo and Ella Mae; her sister Joyce Downs; her sister-in-law Florence Rainier; and her friend Diane Sadler. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
