We bid farewell to Glenda Vick Flippin of Mathews, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 22, 2024 at the age of 85. Glenda Vick touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Willis Flippin; her parents, Willard Vick and Madeline Vick of Newport News; her parents-in-law, Morris and Delma Flippin of Mathews; and her son-in-law Robert Stubbs of Smithfield.
She is survived by: her children, David Flippin (Trudy), Donna Mathis (Floyd) and Susan Stubbs; her grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey Mathis (Tara) of Hayley Stubbs, T. R, Lyerly and Kasey Lynn Moore (Cameron); her great grandchildren, Zachary, Zoey Mathis, Lilly, Emma and Hannah Moore; her brothers, Warren Vick (Judy) of Providence Forge, Wayne Vick (Nancy) of Louisville and Ronald Vick (Veronica) of Spring, Texas; her close friend Ellis (Jean Flippin); her siblings-in-law, Charles and Jean Ingram; and her friend Louise Diggs. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home (160 Main St, Mathews, VA 23109). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
