He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Hearn and Eunice Hearn of Mathews, VA.; his wife Verline Hearn; his son George Hearn; and his siblings, Lucy Hearn Davis and Louis Hearn (Nelson).
He is survived by: his daughter Jacquelyn Hearn-Bennett (Jason) of Yorktown; his brother Robert Hearn (Ruby) of Baltimore, MD; his sister-in-law Shirley M. Russell of Yorktown; his grandchildren, Danielle S. Bennett, Melissa Hearn, Carneal and Travis Brannigan; and his pets, Octavius, Tanner and Bailey. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends.
