She was predeceased by: her husband G. Willard Garrett; and her parents, Alton White and Bessie White. She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy H. Owens and Cathy G. White. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Riverside Hospice, 7358 Main Street, Gloucester, VA 23061.
