It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Audrey Pierce of Mathews, Virginia, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey D. Smith and Virginia Dare Ashberry; and her siblings, Shirley, Thomas W. "Dickie" Smith and Minnie Palmer Hubbard.
She is survived by: her children, James E. Cole IV (Nell) and Virginia Carol Cobb (Russell). She is also survived by six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a service will be held at a later date.
