He is survived by: his wife Lisa Brenneman Crist; his daughters, Rebecca Shelly (Isaac) of Harrisonburg and Rachel DeWald (Christopher) of Charlotte, N. C.; his siblings, Michael Crist (Teresa) of Powhatan, Patricia Golightly (Jerry Daugherty) of Inman, S. C. and Terry Jo Collins (Donald) of Inman, S. C.; his granddaughter Natalie Shelly; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Coggins of Inman, S. C.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
