She was predeceased by: her parents, William Donovant, Sr. and Lillie Mae Brim Donovant; and her sister Sharon Baker. She is survived by: her husband Mike Thornton; her children, Nina Thornton and David Thornton; her siblings, Ann Goad, Elizabeth Jamison, Jean Hall, Ruth Kendrick, Darlene Handy, Bobby Donovant, William Donovant, Jr., Timmy Donovant, Ronnie Donovant and Ray Donovant; and her grandchildren, Shawn Michael Thornton, Brandon Christopher Thornton and Alexander Hunter Scott.
