He was predeceased by: his father James William Young (Mellin); and his siblings, Ann Young Long and Curtis Wendell Young. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Adams Young; his children, Betsy Roberts (Rob), Dwayne Young (Linda) and Jennifer Custer (Kelly); his grandchildren, Adam Shelton, Christopher Young, Morgan Young, LeAnne Shelton, Logan Custer, Abbey Custer Keys, Jaime Little, Kelly Roberts and Kevin Roberts; and his great grandchildren, Jeremiah Young, Hunter, Emma Shelton, Cora Grace Custer, Joshua, Jacob and Jasmyn Little. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
