He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Smith and Elizabeth Williams Smith; and his son Kevin Lee Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Teresa; his son-in-law Randall White of Bassett; his grandchildren, Justin Prillaman, Terrell Craddock (Lauren) and Sarah Shelton (Dustin); his great grandchildren, Ethan Hughes, Brooklyn Craddock and Alec Shelton; his brother Gene; his sister-in-law Kathy Smith of Danville; and his pets, Bear, Midnight, Rex and Connie Clifton.
