He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert Donovant, Sr. and Lillie Mae Brim Donovant; and his siblings, Ann Goad, Yvonne Thronton, Sharon Baker and Bobby Donovant.
He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Bond and Kelly Donovant; and his siblings, Ray Donovant, Liz Jamison, Ruth Kendrick, Jean Hall, Linda Handy, Ronnie Donovant and Tim Donovant. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Wright Funeral Service Chapel (1425 Greensboro Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Roselawn Burial Park (103 Clearview Dr, Martinsville, VA 24112).
