He is survived by: his children, Leslie Oaks (Jerry) of Callands, Teressa Fridley (Eddie) of Axton and Chris Belcher of Martinsville; his siblings, Ruth Davidson (Doug) of Martinsville, Donald Belcher (Roxie) and Jimmy Belcher (Carol); his grandchildren, Maegan Sutphin, Jessica Sutphin, Dana Belcher, Cody Belcher, Lauren Oakes and Justin Oakes; his significant other Jenny Ashby; and his daughter Leslie Oakes.
