She is survived by: her children, Vanessa Williams Reid (Uriel) of Martinsville, VA, Tracey Herndon of Martinsville, VA, Hilda "Bugg" Hairston of Bridgepoint, CT, Buford Hairston, Jr. of Martinsville, VA and Jerry Hairston (Anita) of Virginia Beach, VA; and her siblings, Shirley Dillard (Hezekiah) of Martinsville, VA, Marion Carter of Martinsville, VA and Ricky Hairston of Roanoke, VA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchild, one great great-grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In accordance with the CDC's guidance, the service will require a face cover and social distancing.
