He is survived by: his mother Doris Hale Berry of Martinsville; his sister Sharon Kay Berry Bradshaw (Shay); his brother-in-law Timothy Bradshaw of Millersville, MD; his nieces and nephews, Alicia Bradshaw, Lindsay Bradshaw and Samuel Bradshaw; and his aunt Elva Hale Bourne. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials or donations be made to the local Rotary Foundation in V Rod's honor.
