He is survived by: his children, Tyra Mitchell, Tyler Mitchell and Troy Mitchell; his sister Mary Mitchell Smith; his grandchildren, Arnetta Mitchell, Aaliyyah Mitchell, Armetta Mitchell, Ariel Gravely, Kayla Mitchell and Keylan Mitchell; his great grandchild Serenity Muse; and his close friend Connie Mitchell.
