He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Brown and Pearl Lowe Brown; his wife Janice Lynn Powell Brown; and his siblings, Maudie Russ, Connie Sue Boyd and Steve Edward Brown.
He is survived by: his siblings, Nancy Hines (John W.), Barbara Russell (Tom) and Donnie Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
