He is survived by: his mother Claudia Mae Hairston; his daughter Tara Preston; and his siblings, Marlene Redd, Simona Simmons, Sidney Lewis (Jay), McDaniel Preston (Mary), Wilbert Preston (Florence), Ozzie Preston, Kevin Preston, Avery Preston (Pam) and Steve Preston (Mary Ann).
