It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Eggleston Hairston (Martinsville, Virginia), who passed away on November 9, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Eggleston and Cora Eggleston; her husband Bubba Hairston; and her siblings, Fannie Flakes, Julie Smith, Hattie Bell Clark, Cora M. Brown, John Lewis Eggleston, Edward Eggleston, George Willie Eggleston, Tas Eggleston and Bruce Eggleston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In accordance with the CDC, a face covering, and social distancing is required.
