She was predeceased by: her parent Russell Bernard; and her son Timothy Simpkins. She is survived by: her mother Evelina Gibson Ratcliff; her son Jerry Hiatt (Katherine); her sister Trish Bernard; and her fiancé Richard Walker. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
